Kill Switch lets no traffic bypass the VPN unless you add it to the exceptions yourself. PsyVPN operates at the operating-system kernel level, so traffic has physically nowhere to leak outside the tunnel — no service will see your real IP.
The network transmits every packet with double end-to-end encryption and acts as a relay at the L3 (network) layer of the OSI model. No logs are kept on any node of the network, all transmitted data is anonymized, and only encrypted identifiers arrive from payment and social providers.
Most of the workload is distributed across our mesh network, while the native client implementation and an efficient encryption algorithm cut energy consumption by up to 10x compared to free VPN protocols.
